Why Midland?
Dow Corning scientistMidland County is Michigan's hidden gem: a regional hub of industry-leading technology innovation in Michigan and the Midwest. A well-established, robust technology infrastructure; a pro-business local government that rigorously pursues all available incentives to lower barriers to enterprise and costs of business; and easy access to rail networks and major highways, including US-10 and I-75, all combine to make Midland the location of choice for technology businesses.

On a per capita basis, Midland County has more resident engineers and chemists than any other area in the nation – a large pool of skilled workers to help you start or grow your industrial or technological business. Midland also has a history of supporting business growth and expansion through tax abatements and other incentives.

Midland also holds the home offices of MidMichigan Health (a 4,500-employee healthcare network with referrals from mid- and northern Michigan) and Chemical Financial Corporation, Michigan's fourth-largest bank.
