The 2005 Michigan Growth Capital Symposium attracted 560 attendees, more than 125 venture capital and private equity firms, and a significant number of angel investors. Dear Ryan,

The leaves are gone and so is the warmth... it must be November in Michigan! Although it?s cold outside, business continues to heat up locally and statewide. This month, we have positive news about Michigan?s position as a business- and investment-friendly state. We?re also seeing developments at local small businesses (Dendritech, Case Systems) and large ones (Dow Corning Corporation, Hemlock Semiconductor).

This month, to coincide with the launch of Midland Tomorrow?s new website, we?re testing a different format for our newsletter. Each story below contains introductory information followed by a link to our website to learn more. We hope this format will make it more efficient for you to find the information you?re most interested in. If you have comments or suggestions on this new format, please let us know. As always, we welcome your comments on the content of our newsletter as well.

We wish you a safe and happy Thanksgiving holiday... and we?d like to give thanks to you for your continued interest in our organization.
